General Women's Conference
Today we attended the General Women's Conference. Plus it was the first time Hinarei got to attend with me so that was extra special. We got to go have dinner with our friends at Cafe Rio then we went to the stake center to watch conference. I thought it would be fun to keep the girls busy by checking off a list of gospel words and after conference they get to have treats. It definitely kept the girls busy and reverent. They all did so well. The talks were amazing. It was so neat to see the mothers and their daughters in the choir and have a primary girl say the opening prayer. So neat. The messages were very uplifting. The Spirit was so strong.
Lagoon...
This is the first year we have decided it's time for our family to jump on the wagon and get season pass for the whole family. We went today on the first day it opened. We woke up the kids early and told them we were going somewhere fun. They didn't know until we gave them some clues and immediately Hinarei's face light up and she said "we are going to Lagoon" priceless. We got there pretty early before it opens. To our surprise our dear friends were there too. The Watts and the Johnsens. The kids were so excited. We had so much fun. Hinarei would go on the rides with Izabel those two were inseparables. So cute!! Teahi wasn't really into going on the rides. He tried a couples but that was it. Raimana had fun going on rides with Papa. As for me I only went on one ride then I was done. I know I'm getting old.

Hinarei's Piano Recital
Last night we attended Hinarei's Piano Recital. She was soo excited she has worked so hard all month and it has definitely paid off. I couldn't be more proud of her. Last year she had her moment and didn't want to play piano anymore because it was too hard. So we changed teacher (thanks to my dear friend Lynette who recommended a great piano teacher) then she started to like piano again. I am so glad she kept playing and now she is loving it.
Mama U and Papa U came to see her play and she was so happy to see them there. She played so beautifully. I could tell she was a little bit nervous at first but after seeing other students do their parts she felt calm and ready to play. To our surprise she won the competition of the most practiced days. I didn't even know they had a competition...She did 41 days out of 48 days so she got a gift card to DQ. Way to go Hinarei...
Madelyn her friend since preschool did beautifully as well. She even won the most days practiced as well. Way to go girls...

Teahi is 2
I can not believe my baby boy is now 2. Where has the time been?? Teahi is such a loving and affectionate little boy. He loves touching your face when he is tired and about to fall asleep. He loves to give kisses and hugs. He is the life of our family. He loves to snuggle and this usually tells me he is tired. He loves to try new things. I love his smile and the way he looks at me when he needs me. I just love you so much.
Teahi has also shown me that he is turning 2. He is always into things he is not supposed to touch. He loves climbing on chairs and tables. He doesn't want to drink out of a ZP cup anymore but out of a regular cup with a straw. He thinks he is a big boy now. He has such a great love for balls, any kinds of balls. He's my left little boy. He throws the balls like no other. Sometimes I wonder what else can he do at such a little age. He loves running around and playing with his siblings. He brings so much joy in our lives and we couldn't be happier having him in our family.
To celebrate his birthday we took the kids to Jungle Jim. Teahi loved it especially the games that had balls...We all had a great time there celebrating Teahi's birthday.
We celebrated his birthday at Chilis...
